2018 USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game

The 2018 USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game, which featured the top 42 American-born prospects eligible for the 2019 NHL Draft, was hosted by the Minnesota Wild and Xcel Energy Center on Wed., Sept. 19.

The seventh annual contest, which was staged in Minnesota for the very first time, saw Team Langenbrunner top Team Leopold with Team Langenbrunner forward, Matt Boldy, capturing Player of the Game honors.

Minnesota natives Jamie Langenbrunner and Jordan Leopold served as head coaches. Combined, Langenbrunner and Leopold spent 28 seasons in the NHL and represented the United States internationally on 12 occasions, including three Olympic Winter Games, one World Cup of Hockey, four International Ice Hockey Federation Men's World Championships and four IIHF World Junior Championships.

The 42 player roster, which includes 10 Minnesotans, was announced on Aug. 17 and can be found here. Among the invited players was forward Jack Hughes (Orlando, Fla.), the projected number one pick in the upcoming NHL Draft.
