2014 CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game - Buffalo

Led by celebrity coaches Mike Grier and Ed Olczyk in Buffalo, N.Y., the third USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game saw Team Grier top Team Olczyk, 6-3.

Jack Eichel (North Chelmsford, Mass.) was named the game's Most Valuable Player before becoming the highest-ever drafted AAPAG alumni when the Buffalo Sabres selected him second overall in the 2015 NHL Draft. Other alumni from this game include 2018 NHL All-Star Game MVP Brock Boeser (Burnsville, Minn.) and 2017 Calder Memorial Trophy finalist Zach Werenski (Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich.).

An AAPG-record 28 players from this game went on to become NHL Draft selections. In addition to the seven first-round selections, five players heard their names called in the second round while another six were third-round choices.
