2012 CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game - Buffalo

In the inaugural USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game in Buffalo, N.Y., Rob McClanahan led his team to victory over Phil Housley by a 5-2 count.

Headlining the inaugural AAPG class was defenseman Seth Jones (Plano, Texas), who went on to be selected fourth overall by the Nashville Predators at the 2013 NHL Draft before making his first NHL All-Star Game appearance in 2016-17. Forward Ryan Fitzgerald (North Reading, Mass.) was named Most Valuable Player.

In total, 23 players from the game went on to be drafted by NHL teams, including three first-rounders, three second-rounders and five third-round selections. To date, eight 2012 AAPG players have made their NHL debuts.
