BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The faceoff for the 2014 CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game is 24 hours away. The First Niagara Center ice is ready for action, while players criss-crossed the United States to arrive in the Queen City today.
NHL Network, which will televise the game live at 7 p.m. ET, conducted interviews and photo shoots with a handful of players who arrived early.
In the afternoon, the 42 players assembled for the first time and headed to the rink for a dinner hosted by the Buffalo Sabres organization. Afterward, the players toured the facility and ventured to their respective locker rooms to try on their CCM gear and take official event photos.
Game day begins with 30-minute practices. Team Grier hits the ice at 10 a.m. ET, followed by Team Olczyk at 10:45 a.m. ET.
