The 2026 Chipotle All-American Game is set for this evening at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan.
Tonight’s game serves as an important benchmark for evaluators, providing the opportunity to see how players perform against the best competition in their age group. In total, 353 NHL Draft selections, including 74 first-round picks, have participated in the since the game’s debut in 2012.
The contest features the top NHL draft-eligible players from the U.S. Under-18 National Team of USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program, and other teams in the United States Hockey League, the nation’s only Tier 1 junior hockey league. The players will be split into two teams from among those selected for the competition.
Tonight’s game also represents and celebrates youth programs across the country. The 42 players participating hail from 15 different states. Minnesota leads the way 12 representatives, followed by Illinois with five and New York and Michigan with four each.
USA Hockey Arena will host 42 players hopeful to hear their names called at the NHL Draft in June as over 150 scouts from 27 different NHL teams in attendance look on.
Fans can tune in to NHL Network at 7:00 pm ET for a live broadcast.
