COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- USA Hockey announced today that referees Chazz Knoche (Detroit, Mich.) and Anthony Vikhter (Chicago, Ill.) will be joined by linesmen Reilly Hickey (Hackensack, N.J.) and Patrick Giles (Clinton Township, Mich.) for the 2024 ChipotleAll-American Game, which will be staged Jan. 15 at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Mich. Puck drop is set for 4 p.m. ET and the game will be broadcast live on NHL Network.
The Chipotle All-American Game features the top American players eligible for June’s NHL Draft.
Knoche has been officiating since age 12, and in 2019 he joined the USA Hockey Advanced Officiating Development Program. He is currently in his second season as a referee in the ECHL and USHL. Knoche previously officiated the 2020 Fraser Cup Finals (NA3HL), the 2021 Robertson Cup Finals (NAHL), and most recently the 2022 Clark Cup Conference Finals (USHL).
Vikhter started officiating when he was 12-years-old and joined the USA Hockey Advanced Officiating Development Program during the 2013-14 season. He is in his first season as a referee at the NCAA Division I level, primarily officiating NCHC and CCHA games. Vikhter previously officiated the 2018 Fraser Cup Finals (NA3HL), 2018 and 2019 Robertson Cup Finals (NAHL), and the 2023 Clark Cup Finals (USHL).
All four officials have been a part of the USA Hockey Officiating Development Program and have experience officiating junior hockey in the USHL.
