The 2023 BioSteel All-American Game takes place this afternoon at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan. Puck drop is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET. Tickets for the game are available here.

USA Hockey Arena will play host to more than 190 NHL scouts, and 45 players hoping to hear their names called at the NHL Draft. Tonight’s game serves as an important benchmark for evaluators to see how players perform against the best competition in their age group. In total, 58 first round draft picks and more than 265 players have been selected in the NHL Draft since the game’s debut in 2012.

Rosters are made up of players from the U.S. National Under-18 Team of USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program and the United States Hockey League, the lone Tier I junior league in the United States.

Tonight’s game also represents and celebrates youth programs across the country. The 45 players participating hail from 14 different states. Minnesota leads the way with 12 representatives, followed by New York with six and Michigan with five. Illinois and Massachusetts each have four.

Forty-three players competing in tonight's game are committed to NCAA programs. Boston College boasts seven commits, while Harvard University is second with five players committed to the Crimson. Boston University and the University of Wisconsin have four apiece, and 20 total schools are represented.

Fans can tune in to NHL Network at 4:00 pm ET for a live broadcast. E.J. Hradek, Mark Parrish, and Jon Morosi will be featured on the call live from USA Hockey Arena.
