Rosters Updated Ahead of 2023 BioSteel All-American Game

Top American prospects eligible for 2023 NHL Draft set to compete tomorrow

PLYMOUTH, Mich. – USA Hockey announced today that forward Michael Emerson (Yorktown Heights, N.Y./Chicago Steel), defenseman Michael Hagens (Long Island, N.Y./Chicago Steel), and defenseman Lucas St. Louis (Old Greenwich, Conn./Dubuque Fighting Saints) will participate in the 2023 BioSteel All-American Game, which will take place tomorrow (Jan. 16) at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Mich.

Emerson will join Team White, while St. Louis will play for Team Blue. The game format this year will feature players assigned to two teams, with mixed rosters from both the U.S. National Under-18 Team of USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program and the United States Hockey League, the nation’s only Tier 1 junior hockey league.

Puck drop is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET and the game will broadcast live on NHL Network. Tickets for the BioSteel All-American Game are currently on sale at the USA Hockey Arena box office or online, here.

The BioSteel All-American Game has featured 265 NHL Draft picks, including 58 total first-round selections. Logan Cooley, Cutter Gauthier, Frank Nazar III, Rutger McGroarty, Jimmy Snuggerud, Sam Rinzel, and Isaac Howard, all 2022 first-round NHL Draft picks, have played in the BioSteel All-American Game.

NOTES: The three players will replace Charlie Cerrato (Fallston, Md./NTDP), Mikey DeAngelo(Itasca, Ill./Green Bay Gamblers), Paul Fischer (River Forest, Ill./NTDP), Jake Livanavage (Gilbert, Ariz./Chicago Steel), and Gavin McCarthy (Clarence Center, N.Y./Muskegon Lumberjacks) who will not be able to compete due to injury … The 2023 NHL Draft is set for June 28-29 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, home of the NHL’s Nashville Predators … TRUE is the official equipment partner for the BioSteel All-American Game … For more information on the BioSteel All-American Game click here.
