USA Hockey Names Officials for 2020 BioSteel All-American Game

Top American prospects eligible for 2020 NHL Draft to compete at USA Hockey Arena Jan. 20

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Hockey announced today that referees Jake Jackson(Andover, Minn.) and Steve Sailor (Sewell, N.J.) will be joined by linesmen Neil Frederickson(Lake Elmo, Minn.) and Kilian McNamara (Lantana, Fla.) for the 2020 BioSteel All-American Game, which will be held on Jan. 20 at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Mich. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. ET.

“Events like the BioSteel All-American Game feature the up-and-coming talent within USA Hockey for not just players, but our officials as well,” said USA Hockey director of officiating education program Matt Leaf. “These four officials have worked extremely hard and continue to push themselves. They have truly earned the honor to work this game.”

The game features the top American players eligible for the 2020 NHL Draft and this season, for the first time, the format has players from the U.S. National Under-18 Team of USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program -- Team Knuble, taking on the top draft-eligible American-born players from the USHL, the lone Tier I junior league in the United States -- Team Gomez.
